SWR True Antenna Analyzer is a versatile analyzer covering all major communication bands from 30MHz to 2700MHz. The SWR True will analyze antennas and cables. Measurements are represented graphically as VSWR or Return Loss plots. The built in PLL synthesized generator offers a superior accuracy with small step size. The internal operating system controls measurement, display and the I/Os allowing serial communication to PC, USB to memory stick and USB Serial communication. The I/O options are used to write plots to either memory sticks or to a connected PC, the I/Os can also be used to operate the instrument, giving commands and receiving data. For documentation reference the instrument has a real time clock. Multilayer menus are used to setup and control the operation of parameters. The SWR True instrument is small, handy and light weight battery operated with more than 6 hours of continuous operation on the internal NiMh cells. The EM-6115 is a broad band collinear array allowing very wide Omni-Directional frequency coverage in a single package. Below approximately 100 MHz, the EM-6115 acts as an active vertical rod which offers 10 to 12 dB Greater unsaturated instantaneous dynamic range than competitive antennas (overload field strength: 2 V/meter) which greatly reduces intermodulation generated signals in a typical read world RF environment. In the congested spectrum above 100 MHz the antenna is passive and contributes no intermodulation products so the overload point is determined solely by the receiving instrument. This immunity to overload can often make the difference between useful signal output and an indecipherable jumble of spurious products and is accomplished without compromising sensitivity. The antenna collapses for convenient storage and transport.

The SixPak has two components: a relay matrix and a control box, there are several options for the controller.The relay matrix allows the selection of any 6 antennas by 2 radios or feedlines. Its lockout circuitry prevents both radios from selecting the same antenna. (The 6x1 type of SixPak is now replaced by our RatPak remote 6 way antenna switch.)The usual set-up has one SixPak dual rotary control box, which is manually operated from the radios positions. The stacked Logarithmic Periodic Dipole Antenna consists of two ordinary Log.-Per. structures. The excellent characteristics (flat gain over a large bandwidth, low SWR) of the ordinary Log.-Per. designs could be maintained using the stacked LP design. The stacked design helps to focus the directional pattern of the H-plane somewhat, resulting in a typical gain improvement of ca. 2-3 dB compared to an ordinary LPDA. This is especially important for immunity testing, where a maximum fieldstrength and a good field uniformity is required. The beamwidth in the E-plane and the H-plane are nearly identical, providing an optimised illumination of the EuT with minimised ground reflection influence. Further the STLP 9128 C has an excellent cross-polar rejection.
