The matrix design permits any single Y input to be connected to any single X input, permitting the concurrent connection of 4 RF paths. The 60-983 is an LXI compatible Wired Trigger Bus Terminator (WTB) designed to be attached to the end of a WTB cable. The LXI WTB uses a transmission line cable to connect LXI devices together that support the WTB capability of the LXI standard. Like all transmissions it needs to be correctly terminated to avoid reflections that could change the signal amplitude along the cable and generate timing jitter or trigger errors. The 60-983 is a simple terminator that can be placed at each end of the WTB chain to correctly terminate the transmission line with minimal reflections.

LXI WTB Extender

It is an ideal solution for cable extension where users need to experiment with different cabling solutions without having to totally replace the cables in the system. The 60-894 provides mating connectors for the WTB on each end connected together by a set of accurate differential transmission lines to avoid additional reflections on the cable. The 60-894 is entirely passive and is compatible with the LXI specification.

MT97x, MT98x and XT98x series automated tuners (also known as automated impedance tuners and automated load pull tuners) are precision instruments that are optimized for a broad class of in-fixture and on-wafer applications, and may be used in any automated or manual application requiring the ability to match the impedance of a microwave circuit element or to establish specific impedances at a terminal interface.
