Tunable Filters - Digitally Controlled
K&L Microwave offers a variety of Tunable Filter Products to satisfy a broad range of filtering applications. Tunable Bandpass and Bandreject filters provide the best solution for pre-tuning the desired signals while rejecting the interfering signals. The method of tuning can be either mechanical via a tuning knob mounted on the front of the filter, or electro-mechanical via an optional remote digital interface such as GPIB, RS-232, RS-422, BCD, ARC171, ARC234, Ethernet, USB or "Thumbwheel" panel mount.

Active Voltage Probes
Engineers must commonly probe high-frequency signals with high signal fidelity. Typical passive probes with high input R and C provide good response at lower frequencies, but inappropriately load the circuit, and distort signals, at higher frequencies. Active voltage probes feature both high input R and low input C to reduce circuit loading across the entire probe/oscilloscope bandwidth. With low circuit loading, and a form factor that allows probing in confined areas, the active voltage probe becomes the everyday probe for all different types of signals and connection points.

The input is transformer isolated and accuracy applies over the operating temperature range and with +/-10% input amplitude and frequency variations. The operational amplifier outputs are not transformer isolated, and can be driven into external power amplifiers and Scott "T" transformers for 3 wire synchro outputs. A typical application of this series is in a conventional positioning servo system as a complex error processor. The use of the solid state CDX makes possible the design of servo systems that can be digitally programmed by direct computer input to the digital input of the SCDX.

The Model T300U Trace-level CO analyzer has been developed specifically to address the challenges of low level monitoring as required, for example, in the US NCore network. Using IR absorption with a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, the T300U is designed to allow ultra-sensitive CO measurements while still meeting the requirements for use as a US EPA compliance analyzer.The optical bench is enclosed in a temperature controlled oven, dramatically decreasing instrument noise and drift. The objective and field mirrors in the sample cell are gold plated to maximize signal to noise performance, while a temperature-controlled Nafion dryer on the inlet minimizes water interference caused by ambient humidity changes. Periodically, the T300U seamlessly corrects its baseline by routing the sample through a heated catalytic CO scrubber. This Auto Reference function corrects zero drift and reduces the effect of interferences.
