The Summit™ T416 analyzer is the computer industry's first high speed PCIe 4.0 protocol analyzer that meets the challenge of 16GT/s and up to x16 lane width protocol analysis. Many PCIe 4.0 product designs are already in progress using the PCIe 4.0 specification. Companies are currently working with the Teledyne LeCroy Summit Z416 protocol exerciser for PCIe 4.0 at the deployment of PCIe 4.0 for host system emulation with their testing needs. This combination of a protocol analyzer and exerciser make Teledyne LeCroy the only supplier of protocol test and development tools for PCIe Gen 4. High speed interposers that provide protocol analyzer connectivity to CEM or other form factor sockets on system boards will still continue to be the principle way to capture PCIe traffic into the protocol analyzer.

The LS-71P PCI D/A Converter (DAC) board provides high speed analog outputs of PCM decommutated data allowing real time data displays using strip chart recorders or similar devices. The LS-71-P board is designed to be used in conjunction with the Lumistar LS-50-P Multifunction PCM Decommutator boards and uses an over-the-top communication bus directly from the decom to the DAC to avoid any glitches in the analog outputs due to PCI bus activity. Direct “mailbox” type access is also provided to allow the user to send information through the PCI bus to the DACs. The DAC board design allows 2 LS-50-D Multifunction decom boards to be used with a single DAC board allowing tagged data from either data stream to be directed to any DAC channel. An optional LS-71-DB Word Selector Daughterboard allows two additional data streams to be monitored with the ability to select channels from 4 data streams to be displayed on any DAC channel. The design incorporates an extremely large memory (more than 200,000 16-bit words) used as a lookup table allowing linear or non-linear EUconversions with constant delay regardless of the number of polynomial coefficients required. Standard product supports a single decom, however, dual decom support is available as an option.

The M2p.59xx series allows recording of up to eight single-ended channels or up to four differential channels both with sampling rates of up to 125 MS/s. These PCI Express cards offer outstanding A/D features both in resolution and speed. The cards can be switched between single-ended inputs with a programmable offset and true differential inputs. If used in differential mode each two inputs are connected together reducing the number of available channels by half. The 16 bit vertical resolution have four times the accuracy compared to 14 bit cards and sixteen times the accuracy if compared with a 12 bit card.
