PWM to Voltage Output D/A Converters

Analog Devices’ pulse-width modulation (PWM) to voltage output D/A converters convert a PWM input to an accurate, stable, buffered voltage without the ripple, slow settling, and external passive components of discrete filter implementations. Our PWM D/A converters measure the period and pulse width of a PWM input signal and immediately update the D/A converter output with up to 12-bit accuracy and no software coding required. This family of D/A converters is available with 8-bit to 12-bit resolution, dual and quad channels, integrated references, and with high temperature operation. The BitBox is BitFlow''s new solution for high density I/O applications. Many machine makers require a large number of computer managed I/O signals for continuous control of the system state. This means controlling devices such strobes, solenoids, actuators, indicators etc. as well as gathering inputs from photo-detectors, switches, encoders and triggers. In general, BitFlow frame grabbers come with a fairly large number of inputs and outputs, but for some system this is simply not enough. Most customers end up purchasing another device to manage the I/O, which adds expense, requires another slot, another driver and SDK, another manual, etc. The BitBox has been designed for just this situation. It is controlled completely from the frame grabber, uses the same API, driver and manuals as the frame grabber. This saves time, money, space, and learning curve.

A universal heatsink, which is designed and fabricated for Eravant's active device applications with up to 15-watt power dissipation. The heatsink consists of the main heatsink body, a DC fan and a heat spreader. The heat spreader is also known as adapter, which is used to bridge the mounting gap between the heat sink main body and the to-be-heat-sunk devices, such as power amplifier, frequency active multiplier, oscillator, transmitter and transceiver due to various mounting hole locations. The heat spreader offers various mounting patterns to accommodate more than 15 product models. This heatsink is not only designed for Eravant's standard products and Uni-Guide™ featured products, but also for many industrial standard microwave and millimeter wave products offered by other manufacturers.
