TM530 Audio Frequency Generator is provided with Pinpoint Fault Locator for pinpointing the low resistance fault and detecting cable route. When detecting, TM530 will inject a signal current of 1kHz audio frequency into the cable, and accordingly a magnetic wave of the corresponding frequency will be generated on the cable. Pinpoint Fault Locator will collect this magnetic signal, thus obtains the information of the cable fault and the route.

A series of broadband frequency multipliers is available with output frequencies between 18 and 110 GHz. The use of GaAs diodes on a suspended substrate circuit allows an extremely compact device.
