The 40-735 data communications multiplexer is designed for switching the data lines of serial interfaces (RS232, USB). Careful attention to the design of the module ensures that the switching system minimizes its impact on the transmission distance of USB1.1 interfaces. The MUX is available in 36:1 or 18:1 formats and enables a single source of serial data to be switched to one of 36 or 18 devices under test. This allows the data source to load information to, or receive information from, the device under test. The 36:1 version can be software configured into two independent 18 way MUXs enabling two separate sources of serial data to be connected to separate banks of 18 devices. The module is ideal for performing bulk testing of any device that relies on a serial data communications port to load software or control the device operation. It can also be used for a variety of other applications where ever a 2-pole low power MUX is required.

EDFAs are based on the light amplification in erbium-doped fiber, which are optically pumped by means of 980 nm or 1480 nm light sources. In this way, the light of a larger wavelength within the C or L band applied to the input of the amplifier is amplified, thus widening the range of optical communication links. EDFAs typically operate in saturation and the average signal power determines the average gain. The dynamics of EDFA are unaffected by the sequence and dynamics of a digital signal or channel interaction in DWDM systems. As a result, multiple channels can be bundled within the total erbium spectral amplification bandwidth. However, the total average output power in both cases is determined by the saturation power of the specific EDFA.

Four channel MAX31855 digital thermocouple Arduino Shield. Two versions of this shield are avaliable for each thermocouple type: either 'Ch 0-3' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 7-10) or 'Ch 4-7' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 3-6), with the only difference being which set of zero-ohm resistors are populated on the board. This allows use of other SPI devices that may be 'hard coded' to specific digital pins on the Arduino, or simply stacking one of each type together to get a total of eight thermocouple channels on one Arduino.Each order comes with one board and a set of four female, long extension, headers that can be soldered to the board. If stacking two of these modules on top of each other, please order both a Ch 0-3 and a Ch 4-7 board, as well as an additional set of headers for stacking. Video Distribution Amplifiers (sometimes called a video splitter – not to be confused with a video split screen controller such as our PXD510E split screen controller) are typically used for connecting a camera or other video source to several monitors that do not have “looping” inputs. In this situation, each monitor has a permanent 75 ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor. Using a Video Distribution Amplifier will solve this problem by driving each monitor individually at 100%.
