Keysight covers PON and common WDM wavelengths with its 81663A Distributed Feedback (DFB) laser source modules. The precise tunability around ITU-grid center wavelength gives you the flexibility to match test setups to the latest requirements of the DWDM-system. The fine-tuning allows to shift the center wavelength from one DWDM transmission channel to the adjacent channel in dense WDM systems. The built-in isolator ensures highest laser stability, even when reflections are present in the optical path.

The light is introduced through the input port, then reflected many times by the highly reflective interior of the sphere until it illuminates the inner surface uniformly. A detector samples a small fraction of this light to measure the total power input. Ophir integrating spheres have a highly reflective diffuse white coating for measurements independent of beam size, position and divergence. There are several sphere sizes, apertures and wavelength regions available. The large IS6 series has 2 configurations for measuring divergent or parallel beams.

This is ensured by measuring Resistance of the Earth path by passing heavy Current say 25 A. The Earth Contact Resistance Tester essentially comprises of a Variable Current source with digital Ammeter to measure the Current supplied. The Voltage drop across the Earth path is measured with a digital Voltmeter. Optionally for a particular Current (25 A) the meter can be calibrated in terms of Resistance.
