The lightning wave impulse current generator is an impulse current generator that generates a simulated lightning current waveform . Its working process is as follows: first, the transformer charges the capacitor bank through the silicon pile, when the charging voltage reaches a predetermined value, the spark gap is triggered, and the capacitor is discharged through the total inductance and total resistance of the circuit. When the resistance is greater than or equal to the critical damping value, a unidirectional impulse current wave is generated in the circuit. When the resistance is less than the critical damping value, an oscillating impulse current wave is generated. The magnitude of the impact current amplitude is related to the circuit parameters. When the capacitance value and charging voltage are the same, the smaller the inductance value, the greater the current amplitude. In order to obtain as much current as possible, a pulse capacitor with a small inductance value is usually selected, and the total length of the connecting line should be as short as possible when arranging the main capacitor, so that the total loop inductance value can be reduced as much as possible.

Physitemp’s original Thermes high accuracy ISA based data acquisition system has been redesigned to create a more versatile USB model. The new system requires no internal connections to your computer and simply connects via an external USB port on your laptop or desktop computer. Two versions of the data acquisition system are available. The standard version, THERMES USB, is connected to your computer USB port. The wireless version - THERMES USB WFI, can be either directly connected to a USB port or, with the included wireless receiver, positioned up to 100 feet from the host computer. Each unit will accommodate up to 7 type T thermocouple sensors and multiple Thermes units may be connected to the same computer for more thermocouple inputs. A high accuracy electronic cold junction compensation circuit maintains typical system accuracy of ±0.2°C over an ambient temperature range of 15 to 35°C. Modified Condition / Decision Coverage (MC/DC) provides two levels of verification for conditional expressions. The first level, named MC/DC Branches, tracks each subcondition in an expression to verify that is has been tested with both True and False values. The second level, named Equivalence Pairs, verifies if each subcondition can affect the value of the condition. This is done by generating a truth table for the expression, and then finding a pair of rows in the table that will generate a different result when all values except the tested value remain constant.

The TE5100 is a 100MHz Direct Digital Synthesized Signal Generator available in a 3U, CompactPCI or straight PCI format. The TE5100 generates Sine and ACMOS/TTL output signals simultaneously up to 100MHz in 1 µHz steps. Sweep, FSK, Chirp and Single Tone are generated on board.
