RSE Wireless EMC Spurious Emission

The R&S®TS8996 RSE test system is designed for EMI and radiated spurious emission testing on wireless devices in semi-anechoic or fully anechoic chambers. The modular design makes it easy to extend the system to include new communications technologies. Typical devices under test include mobile phones or radio sets along with radiated measurements of other short-range devices. Standards require a wide range of test setups and a wide and high frequency range (up to 40 GHz). ESW or FSW frequency ranges are extended up to 325 GHz with option B21 using receive units TC-RSE for 5G FR2. Dedicated RSE test routines are also covered for this frequency range.

Hardness Testing Devices
NewSonic’s hardness testing devices test hardness in a nondestructive way using the UCI method (ultrasonic contact impedance). Data Patterns developed a Multi Programmer with associated test automation software in 1994. Christened the DP-800 this product was adopted for the implementation of test rigs for Navigation Platform Test Benches, Engine Test Bed Automation, Cable Harness Test Systems, etc. This product was effectively utilized in the development of test benches required by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the Polar Satellite Launch Vechicle (PSLV) and Geo Stationary Launch Vehicle (GSLV). Based on this foundation, the next generation test benches were developed in the cPCI architecture. Presently, Data Patterns develops cPCI based test systems for Laboratory applications as well as VME based test systems for challenging environmental conditions. The N1428A is designed to operate specifically with the B2985B / 87B electrometer / high resistance meter. It is provided with two component modules, which are used to hold SMD, lead, and various types of devices. Electrical noise effects are reduced by the employment of a shielded case. A built-in interlock circuit enables safe high-voltage measurements. The N1413A high resistance meter fixture adapter is also required to connect the N1428A to the B2985B / 87B.
