The Keysight 83018A microwave system amplifier is a compact, off-the-shelf amplifier designed for systems designers and integrators. This amplifier provides power where you need it to recover system losses and to boost available power in RF and microwave ATE systems. The ultrabroad bandwidth from 2 to 26.5 GHz allows the designer to replace several narrow bandwidth amplifiers with a single Keysight amplifier, eliminating the need for crossover networks or multiple bias supplies. The standard Keysight 83018A includes internal directional detectors for external leveling applications. With excellent noise figure relative to its broad bandwidth and high gain, this amplifier significantly improves system noise figure and dynamic range. The Keysight 83018A comes equipped with a low profile heat sink, an integral mounting bracket, and a two-meter dc power supply cable. Thermal characteristics and power supply design allow fast, easy integration into most measurement systems.

The serial ports utilize 16C954 UARTs with 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs that enables data rates to 921.6K bps for reliable high-speed communications in data-intensive applications. This high-performance UART includes 9-bit framing support and is fully software compatible with legacy 16550 applications. In addition, the board derives a 62.5 MHz clock from the PCI Express link. The AWA-0134 is an active array for 5G wireless applications developed using planar antenna technology resulting in a very low profile, lightweight unit. The surface mount assembled antenna board is based on Anokiwave’s AWMF-0108 Silicon Quad Core IC and demonstrates the performance achievable using low power silicon integration and efficient antenna layout and design. Using the AWMF-0108, the antenna provides +60dBmi (1000 W) of EIRP. The electronic 2D beam steering is achieved using analog RF beam forming, with independent phase and gain control in both Tx and Rx operating modes.
