CPRI Interface Panel Kits for Connectivity Testing

RFS’ CPRI Interface Panels are used to test fiber connectivity between Optical Base Band Units (BBU) and Remote Radio Heads (RRH), allowing cell operations and system performance engineers to ensure the best performance without having to disconnect the fiber optical system or disrupt service. In addition, the CPRI panel enables easy RF over CPRI testing at the bottom of the tower, reducing the need for unnecessary tower climbs, thus minimizing maintenance cost and overall OPEX for customers. The RFS CPRI panel is bundled with RFS’ high-quality fiber optic jumpers, providing an end-to-end solution that includes HYBRIFLEX® fiber-to-the-antenna DC and F/O solutions.

New PK-232 firmware (Ver. 7.2) allows a wider selection of filters than the original PK-232, so the filter can match the mode. The correct DSP filter is automatically selected when you choose an internal mode. In RTTY, Timewave’s proven Twin Peak Filters pluck the mark and space tones from the noise and QRM for great copy. In PACTOR, the filter bandwidth automatically changes when the baud rate shifts in response to the error rate of the link. In Morse (CW), the operator can preset either 100 Hz or 200 Hz bandwidth. The Transmit unit, C-9235-TX, sends 1553 like data pattern through a bus stub and coupler to the Receive unit, C-9235-RX, on another stub. This will measure insertion loss, possible bit errors and correct polarity. The Receive unit can also be used to give a digital scope representation of the active data bus showing signal quality and peak to peak amplitude.
