Dual Channel Multi-Band FM Tracking/Data Receiver In Modular Style Housing

The Lumistar LS-27-B Modular Dual Channel Tri-Band Tracking and Data Receiver is Lumistar’s third generation of modular high performance FM Receivers. This wideband designs supports one or two independent channels of PCM with data rates up to 20Mbps. The unit includes both an optional FM demodulated output for PCM data, and standard programmable AM/linear AGC outputs for auto-tracking receivers. The design offers 8 IF Bandwidths and 8 Video Filters per channel for each receiver.AC coupling with a low pass filter is employed to ensure a high quality data link with long strings of NRZ-L ones or zeroes. The unit provides a software selectable 10 MHz reference I/O port forlocking local oscillators to a high precision external source or to arrange multiple units in a master/slave arrangement. The receiver’s control and status is achieved via Ethernet, USB or auto-switched RS-232 (or “4-wire” RS-485 in place of 232). When utilizing the RS-422 interface, multi-drop configurations can be accommodated.

The FMC103 is a four-channel ADC FMC (FPGA Mezzanine Card) which is fully compliant with the VITA 57.1-2010 standard. The FMC103 card provides four 12-bit 210 MSPS A/D channels which can be sampled by an internal clock source (optionally locked to an external reference) or an externally supplied sample clock. A trigger input for customized sampling control is also available. The FMC103 has the LPC (Low-Pin Count) 160-Pin connector, front panel I/O, and is conduction cooled compliant. The board is also available with Mil-I-46058c compliant Conformal Coating.

The PCI-6516 is an industrial digital output interface, with one bank of channels. The device is ideal for industrial control and manufacturing test applications. The PCI-6516 module is an industrial digital I/O interface, with all channels on an isolated bank. You can wire each input bank in a source or sink configuration. With programmable power-up states, you can configure the initial output states in software, to ensure safe operation when connected to industrial actuators. VCO Series
The SC5510A and SC5511A are VCO-based, synthesized signal sources with very low phase noise and an amplitude control of 0.01 dB throughout its -30 dBm to +15 dBm output power range. By utilizing a unique multiple phase-locked loop architecture, phase spurs are kept below -70 dBc across the entire tuning range, even at 1 Hz step resolution. Download the data sheet to see how the impressive features and specifications of these modules make them stand out when compared to other small modular synthesizers. These 20 GHz signal sources include an additional, independent RF2 channel with a tunable frequency range from 100 MHz to 3 GHz and a tuning resolution of 25 MHz. The extra channel makes the modules suitable for either single-stage RF conversion systems or dual-stage image suppression up/down converter systems. Both modules make great general-purpose laboratory signal sources where demanding low phase noise and signal purity are required. They are both ideal choices as an integrated clock source for fast DAC and ADC applications, especially those that require variable sampling rates. This is a 144-bit full-size card. A Programmable Peripheral Interface chip, type 8255-5 provides three 8-bit ports (A, B, and C) for each 24-bit group. Each port can be independently programmed for either input or output. Port C can also be configured as two 4-bit ports. These cards fully implement Mode 0 of the 8255 PPI chip. (Consult the factory if you desire to operate in Mode 1.) Type LS245 bi-directional transceivers sink 24 mA (optionally 64 mA) and source 15 mA. These transceiver buffers provide hysteresis correction on inputs and added drive capability on outputs. The direction of the transceivers is set by software.
