PHI Quantera II
The core technology of the PHI Quantera II is PHI’s patented, monochromatic, micro-focused, scanning x-ray source which provides excellent large area and superior micro-area spectroscopy performance. Spectroscopy, depth profiling, and imaging can all be performed over the full range of x-ray beam sizes including the minimum x-ray beam size of less than 7.5 µm. In addition to superior XPS performance characteristics the PHI Quantera II provides two in situ sample parking stations which enables the automated analysis of all three sample platens in a single user defined analysis queue.

Single Slot Intelligent Interface Card
IIB-3910-CPCI
The IIB-3910-CPCI is a single slot intelligent interface card providing complete STANAG 3838 and STANAG 3910 test, simulation and bus analysis capability for the CompactPCI Bus. The IIB-3910-CPCI supports concurrent Bus Controller (BC) and up to 31 Remote Terminals (RT) with Bus Monitor (BM). An additional stand-alone Chronological Bus Monitor (CBM) facility is also provided, with powerful multi-level triggering capability. Full error injection capability in both 3838 and 3910 modes is provided in BC and RTs modes, with full error detection in BC, RT, BM and CBM modes. Dual redundant 3838 interface, with user selectable dual redundant optical or single redundant electrical 3910 interface are featured. 2 Mbytes of dual ported RAM are provided. The board is supplied with C drivers in source code and Windows menu driven software as standard.

Quad RF Driver
The Quad RF Driver contains four independent RF channels, each with an RF synthesizer, variable attenuator, and 1W power amplifier. The RF signal can originate from either the internal synthesizer or an external source via SMA input. All channels have independent frequency, phase, and gain settings and can be operated in one of two modes. The “Wideband” mode operates from 35MHz to 2GHz with a 3.472KHz resolution; over this range the frequency roll-off is approximately 0.5dB/100MHz. “Int-N Phase Adjust” mode allows the user to set and maintain a fixed phase relationship between all four channels. This mode is designed to operate between 300 and 460MHz with a 2MHz resolution. Two additional inputs are provided for an external frequency reference and digital modulation.
