Up to 256 NuDAM modules an be romotely controlled on any RS-485 network from a host computer, via a single serial RS-232, allowing communication from as far as 4000 feet from the host. Based on the RS-485 multi-drop network system, each module has a unique address ID, whereby simple ASCII command & response protocols through the standard RS-485 interface can control all the NuDAM modules in the RS-485 network. This High Performance Video MUX is designed for the switching of RF signals in 75Ω systems at frequencies up to 1GHz. It is ideal for 75Ω monitoring applications that require a multiplexer to select one channel to be routed to measuring equipment. This is a PXI signal insertion and monitor matrix with switched pass thru connections on both X and Y axis. It is also availablein a 16x4 format and can be used for signal insertion and monitoring purposes on connections between the UUT and test system. Each pass thru connection from LX to X can be open or closed to allow the programmatic disconnection of the signal to check the response of the UUT.
