Cryogenic 4K Probe Cards
Over the last 20 years the Celadon Engineering team has developed an expertise in cryogenic materials which has resulted in a solid reputation in the industry for producing extremely stable cryogenic on-wafer probe cards as well as DUT probing solutions. These Cryogenic probe cards have all the benefits of Celadon’s Crash Resistant™ probe technology but with the ability to probe as cold as humanly possible. Celadon’s cryogenic solutions vary from standard VersaTile™ footprints which interface to positioners to innovate custom PCB based designs to allow for flexibility when testing at these very cold temperatures. Lakeshore cryogenic wire is used in standard DC solutions for high density cable-out designs to support high pin count applications. During the development process, Celadon works closely with the cryogenic prober vendor to ensure the integrated solution is optimized for current and future testing needs.

Energized Cable Sensor
The purpose of the Energized Cable Sensor is to allow the lineman to readily determine whether a URD cable is energized. The sensor consists of an amplifier which is designed to give a meter reading when the small AC voltage between the semi-conductive sheath and the concentric neutral of the energized URD cable is applied to the test probe. The amplifier is housed in a rugged phenolic case. Sensor may be used to check for energized condition on concentric-neutral cable below an elbow without test points. At cable mid-span (left), hose clamps bridge all strands of concentric neutral at the test location. Sensor’s neutral lead clips to one of the hose clamps. Tip on probe lead contacts only semi-conductive cable sheath to test for voltage presence.

Carbon Strips Quality Tester

The MR12SPX and its measuring probe are used for inspection and quality control of carbon strips of current collectors used by electrical powered trains, electric trams, trolley buses and similar vehicles. Here the current collectors are preferably roof mounted. Due to the often pairwise mounting of the carbon strips, there is little space between the lowered collectors. Therefore the measuring probe itself is very small. The design can be modified for your needs.

Fine Pitch Probes
Fine pitch probes are spring contact probes with pitches between 0.10 / 4mil and 1.00mm / 40mil.In this pitch, direct soldering and the use of mounting receptacles is usually no longer possible. Therefore, almost all fine pitch probes are designed as double-sided spring-loaded contact probes. Fine pitch probes are installed in corresponding test sockets, which enable exact contacting of the test points. Feinmetall fine pitch probes are suitable for common components such as BGA, LGA, QFP, QFN or WLCSP.
