It accurately measures not only in factory environments but also in high-induction fields and substationsThe RMO-A series contains 6 models, rated from 100 A (RMO100A) to 600 A (RMO600A). The RMO500A (formerly CPM500) is our best seller, with 500 A ripple-free current and weighs only 8 kg.Although placed in a very portable and lightweight metal housing, RMO-A micro-ohmmeters have very high output power capabilities. They can generate 600 A test current continuously for up to 20 s. You can test with current up to 100 A without rest time. High output voltage enables a wider measurement range at the highest test currents, as well as the use of thinner/longer test cables. For testing with 100 A, 20 m test leads can be provided with only 16 mm2 cross-section.RMO-A micro-ohmmeter generates a true DC ripple-free (less than 1 %) current with automatically regulated test ramps. The Models FIM-22 and FIM-41 are portable field strength meters designed to provide precise, direct measurements of electro-magnetic fields in the 200 kHz to 5.0 MHz spectrum. These units include a receiver, integral shielded loop antenna, precision attenuator, internal calibration source, and battery power supply. With calibration accuracy traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the FIM-22 and FIM-41 meet the most exacting requirements of government and industry. Their hinged covers, on the rugged drawn aluminum cases, contain a loop antenna. Opening the cover to a vertical position connects the antenna terminals to the receiver via maintenance-free gold-plated contacts. An interlock switch prevents inadvertent battery discharge when the cover is closed.

Battery Impedance Meter

Operation is fast and simple. Just press the spring-loaded probes onto the two poles of the battery. After 1.5 seconds, the unit beeps (indicating good contact) and displays the battery voltage and either the number of siemens or milliohms, depending on the knob setting. The display continues to show these numbers after the probes are removed; it resets only when the probes are pressed onto the next battery. The impedance and voltage of any battery between 1.2 and 60 volts can be read. Because of the wide range of voltages, even single low-voltage cells, such as NiMH, can be measured. The manufacturers of some batteries specify impedance in milliohms while other specify in siemens (one divided by the resistance in ohms). This meter will display both types of impedance for any given battery. Accuracy is +/- 2% of the value.
